The core members of the team have created tens of millions of products and services in various fields such as chip design, intelligent product development and have accumulated valuable industry experience.
Alan Feng graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Southampton, UK, majoring in microelectronics. Before founding NextVPU, he established and led a global R&D team of 100+ people in AMD, led and participated in the design of over 50 types of CPU and GPU chips with tens of millions shipment, mainly used in many products, including Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4, server, desktop, laptop, aircraft airborne computer, etc.
Graduated from PhD in Zhejiang University, National Key Laboratory of CAD, specializing in 3D reconstruction domain. He was the chief architect in the field of AMD’s computer vision, image signal processing and video, and was responsible for the core IPs’ algorithm and architecture. As a scientist and architect in the field, he led and developed several generations of core IPs in dozens of AMD GPU and APU chips during the past ten years, and has obtained many related patents in China and the United States.
